The 54th Heritage Days Festival was a two-day event held on Historic Washington Street in Cumberland, Maryland, on September 14-15, 2023. It was the official start of fall for the City of Cumberland and Allegany County, and featured over 100 arts and crafts vendors, as well as a variety of food vendors serving up everything from traditional festival fare to unique dishes from local restaurants.
Energy Select was excited to return to the Heritage Days Festival this year, after last year’s success. The Energy Select booth was manned by James Horstkamp, the President of Energy Select, and Rodney Oates, the Lead Energy Advisor.
“It was great seeing so many members of the county participate,” says James, who opened the Energy Select office in Cumberland’s Historical District just over a year ago. “Heritage Days makes it clear that the community has a lot of pride in itself.”
By attending the Festival, it gave Energy Select an opportunity to let people know about the exciting news about the recent developments for Energy Select. “We’re excited to say we are almost at ten new solar projects,” states Rodney, who has sold the vast majority of these. “These systems will help the customers pay less for electricity each month and the more jobs we sell, the more jobs we can provide for the community.” If interested in learning more about Energy Select and their services, please stop by the office located at 119 Baltimore St, Cumberland, MD 21502, or email rodney@energyselectllc.com.
