Chris Horstkamp

As the Sales Director for Energy Select, Chris Horstkamp guides the company’s sales and customer relations teams, overseeing the entire client journey from initial consultation to financing and project kickoff. His approach is uniquely informed by his dual degrees from the University of Maryland (UMD), from which he graduated Cum Laude. His B.S. in Computer Information Systems provides a deep understanding of solar technology, while his B.A. in Psychology gives him keen insight into customer needs and effective problem-solving.

Chris's commitment to Energy Select is lifelong. Growing up in the family business, he has been involved with the company since the age of 12, gaining an unparalleled understanding of every facet of its operations. Outside of his role, Chris's roots in the community are deep. He is a part-owner of Basford Creek Tree Farm and enjoys spending his free time boating on local waters or staying active at the gym.
