Gage Murdock

As an Energy Advisor, Gage Murdock brings a valuable blend of hands-on technical experience and formal education to his role. His journey with Energy Select began in 2017 as a solar and LED lighting installer during his college breaks. This practical, in-the-field experience gives him a comprehensive understanding of the systems he now designs for both residential and commercial customers. A 2021 graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in Communications, Gage excels at educating homeowners and businesses on how to effectively reduce their energy usage and lower their costs.

While initially drawn to the company through a close friend’s family business, Gage’s time at the University of Maryland solidified his career path. Courses on climate change and global energy use ignited a passion for the work and a deep understanding of its importance. He was happy to return full-time after graduation to serve his hometown community, helping people save money while converting to clean, renewable energy. A huge Washington sports fan and avid golfer, you can often find Gage at a Commanders game or on a local course like Wicomico Shores.
