Karen Gable

As an Energy Advisor, Karen Gable draws on a diverse background centered on empowering people. A graduate of Mount St. Mary's University with a Master of Social Work from Catholic University, she previously owned and operated her own successful team-building company, Gabes Reality, in Frederick, MD. Her lifelong passion for rock climbing, which began with working ropes courses for teens and families, has also honed her ability to help people navigate decisions and achieve their goals.

Karen’s career has always been guided by a deep commitment to service. After losing friends from Mount St. Mary's on 9/11, she was moved to act, becoming a volunteer firefighter in both Frederick and Emmitsburg to make a tangible difference in her community. She brings that same passion to her work at Energy Select, where she is dedicated to helping families and business owners improve their lives while also protecting the planet.

When not at work, Karen is an avid outdoors enthusiast who loves boating, biking, and hiking. She is deeply rooted in the Solomons community, where she attends Our Lady Star of the Sea and enjoys time with friends at Spring Cove Marina. She is also a big fan of all Washington sports.
