What you can expect

The Solar Process

While solar panels can pay for themselves over the long run, there are many solar incentives that can greatly shorten the time and increase your return on investment. These benefits are great, but keep in mind, they benefit the owner of the solar system, so if you are leasing your system, you are not the owner and therefore do not receive these benefits.

1

Solar Site Assessment

A trained, professional solar energy consultant will visit the site, gather information, and answer questions. This will include assessing current and future usage, getting a copy of the electric bill, and taking pictures of the roof and surrounding property, the electric meter, electric panel, and interior condition of the roof if applicable. We complete most assessments in about 30 minutes.

2

Design

We review your site and create engineering designs specific to your home or business. Designs are typically ready in a few days.

3

Presentation of Custom Solutions

We will meet with you to review the design and explain any options or questions which typically include a timeline, payback, financing, etc. Once we have a signed contract and deposit, we will start the process which, from start to finish, is typically 12 to 20 weeks. There’s a lot to accomplish before the first panel goes up.
